Valle De Casablanca - Late Harvest Pudding Wine

£19.99 each

A family owned winery and one of the first in the Casablanca Valley, Casas del Bosque have twice been awarded Chilean winery of the year. Their pudding wine is crafted from Riesling grapes affected with botrytis ('bunch rot'), harvested in late July (1-2 months later than regular harvest), when the fruit has reached high concentrations of sugar. The juice is extracted by traditional pressing, then fermented in French oak barrels, and aged for 12 months.

With flavours of acacia honey, lemon peel and quince jelly on the nose, this wine is the perfect balance of luscious sweetness and refreshing acidity.
