Your 'English Fizz Tasting Experience' box will include...
- Lyme Bay Winery Brut Reserve
Lyme Bay produce their national and international award-winning wines here in Devon on the beautiful Exe Valley. They believe the best wines are born from grapes with diverse backgrounds so use grapes from their own vineyard along with grapes from the best, hand selected growers across the South of England. A fruit-driven sparkling wine that displays refreshing lemon and green apple notes, with a vibrant and creamy mousse finish.
- Camel Valley Brut
Camel Valley have been producing world-class wines from their vineyard in heart of the Cornish countryside for nearly 30 years. A fresh and fruity fizz, perfect for all celebrations. With English hedgerow scents and a touch of honey on the palate. Pairs incredibly well with seafood.
- Lily Farm Brut
In the Vale of Knowle, surrounded by the beautiful East Devon Countryside, Alan and Faye Pratt along with their two sons, Gareth and William produce their multi award-winning wines. Aromatic, floral and delicate on the nose. Crisp, zesty, lemony, yet creamy smooth with yeasty notes on the palate. Elegant and with balanced acidity leads to a delicious finish.
- Pebblebed Sparkling Rose
Just a mile from here, our dear friend Geoff Bowen launched Pebblebed as a community project in 1999. His immense passion for sustainable viticulture along with the role of food and drink in our community meant that Pebblebed grew into the award winning vineyard it is today. Sadly, Geoff passed away in 2018 leaving his wife Anna and head winemaker Alex to continue to pursue his dream of creating exceptional English wines. A blend of Seyval Blanc and Rondo, this fizz is a wonderful salmon pink colour, with an excellent creamy mouse, delicate red berry and rose petal flavours balancing the fresh acidity.
- Sharpham Brut
On the glorious Sharpham estate, nestled amongst the banks of the River Dart near Totnes, Mark Sharman and his team produce classic English wines. The marriage of soil, climate and grape variety know as terroir, combined with New World and traditional techniques enable them to produce world-class, award-winning wines with unique regional characteristics. A light and fresh, traditional method English Sparkling Wine. It is citrus driven that also shows green apple, toast and baked bread from the lees aging. The palate has a fresh acidity and a soft mousse.
- Huxbear Classic Sparkling
In Chudleigh, on the winding banks of the Teign Valley, sits Huxbear Vineyard; 15 acres of vines, plated on the South and South West facing slopes. Owned and run by Lucy and Ben Hulland, their beautiful wines are crafted using power that is produced on-site (no grid!), mostly from renewable sources. This traditionally produced sparkling wine has notes of lemon and red fruit. Pairs perfectly with seafood!
