We work with some of the best, local, small-scale brewers in the world, who have a real passion for hand-selecting and blending unique ingredients to create something a little different. While based on ancient recipes, they each channel the taste and inventiveness of their maker.

  • Otter Brewery, Otter Ale 4.5%

5th generation brewer Patrick McCaig has an incredible passion for beer and brewing; and he certainly knows a thing or two about producing the best! He uses the finest selection of handpicked ingredients, including their own yeast culture and water from the River Otter, to create his award-winning beers here, in the heart of Devon. Imagine a piece of beautifully polished mahogany and you’ve got the deep, rich tones of Otter Ale. The malty aroma and hints of fruit provide a first clue to the flavour but the taste goes further and finishes in a strong combination of fruit and some bitterness.

  • Hanlons, Yellow Hammer 4.2%

Built on the farm in Half Moon, Devon, Hanlons have been producing great craft beer since 1995. All of their amazing beers are lovingly brewed on site by the family team. Yellow Hammer is a golden, zesty beer laden with bittersweet flavours, from Admiral and late hopped with First Gold and Cascade. The perfect accompaniment to barbecue meat and salad.

  • Branscombe Brewery, Summa That 5.0%

Branscombe Vale Brewery have been crafting their ales in Seaton, Devon for over 25 years. The micro-brewery only brew 7,200 pints in each batch (compared to globalised brands, such as Fosters brew over 2.2million pints a day), and continues to concentrate on converting West Country Barley and its own water into quality, easy drinking ales. This punchy pale ale is golden in colour, with a hoppy and lemony citrus nose. Pairs perfectly with grilled fresh fish.

  • Exmoor Ales, Gold Ale 4.5%

Exmoor Gold is the colour of Chardonnay, sparkling in the glass and appealing to both ale drinkers and lager lovers. Gold not only looks good, but it also tastes great. The blend of the hops - Challenger, Goldings and Fuggles – makes for a balanced palate with fresh and fruity flavours and a soft and comforting malty centre. Pairs perfectly with seafood and stir-frys.

  • Quantock Brewery, Quantock Stag 6.0%

Set up in 2007 in Somerset by head brewer Rob Rainey, Quantock Brewery produce ales brewed entirely from the highest quality grain and whole hop cones, with the only other ingredients being yeast and water. The microbrewery produces over 2,300 pints a brew, up to 5 times a week (compared to globalised brands, such as Fosters brew over 2.2million pints a day). Quantock Stag is full bodied and malty, with Fuggle and Goldings hops, which give a beautiful toffee aroma. Perfect with traditional desserts, such as crumble.

  • Dartmoor Brewery, Dartmoor IPA 4.0%

Dartmoor Brewery brew all of their beers in Princetown at the heart of Dartmoor National Park using four traditional ingredients - English malt, the finest hops, their own strain of yeast and pure Dartmoor water. Dartmoor IPA is a highly drinkable, light golden beer with an earthy, floral and spicy flavour, finished off with tropical and citrus notes. Best served with white meat and freshly caught, local fish.

  • Hanlons, Citra IPA 4.0%

Built on the farm in Half Moon, Devon, Hanlons have been producing great craft beer since 1995. All of their amazing beers are lovingly brewed on site by the family team. This lovely zesty beer is laden with fruity & floral aromas. A Citra hopped IPA will not disappoint in ease of drinking. Pairs perfectly with beef and barbecue meat.

  • Black Tor Brewery, DPA Devonshire Pale Ale 4.5%

A family-run microbrewery located in the heart of Dartmoor. Using traditional brewing methods, Black Tor combines the best whole leaf hops, malted barley and Dartmoor water to create flavoursome cask and bottle conditioned ales with a unique character. DPA is an easy-drinking pale ale, golden colour with smooth bitterness, citrus flavours, floral aromas & crisp dry finish. Enjoy with a hearty ruby red beef stew or casserole.

  • Exeter Brewery, County Best 4.5%

Exeter Brewery have been brewing in Exeter since 2003. The micro-brewery uses organic hops to craft each of their amazing ales. County Best is crafted with the finest floor malted barley and premium quality hops, this ale has aromas of fruit, rich malty-sweet flavour and a bitter sweet finish. Pairs perfectly with sticky toffee pud.

  • Dartmoor Brewery, Jail Ale 4.8%

Dartmoor Brewery brew all of their beers in Princetown at the heart of Dartmoor National Park using four traditional ingredients - English malt, the finest hops, their own strain of yeast and pure Dartmoor water. Jail Ale is full-bodied, deep golden-brown beer, with a well-rounded flavour and a rich, moreish aftertaste. Pair perfectly with classic bangers and mash.

  • Hunter’s Brewery, Pheasant Plucker 4.3%

Hunter’s is a family run brewery that’s been crafting top quality ales in the heart of the Devon’s countryside since 2008. Pheasant Plucker is hopped with English Boadicea to give rich fruity taste; creating aromas of spicy hops, molasses and cocoa. The perfect match for a good hearty stew.

  • Exeter Brewery, Avocet 3.9%

Exeter Brewery have been brewing in Exeter since 2003. The micro-brewery uses organic hops to craft each of their amazing ales. The naming of their widely popular Avocet ales reflects their support for the interesting and important conservation area in which they are located. A well-known classic, with its pale blonde colour, distinct citrus flavour and lovely mild hop aroma this ale appeals to a wide range of palates and pairs perfectly with pasta dishes.
